Gal Gadot Says ‘Wonder Woman’ Isn’t ‘An Action Film’ but a ‘Fantasy Film’
Gadot says Wonder Woman isn’t a “films,” but it’s a “fantasy” film.
We caught up with Gadot to get her thoughts on Wonder Woman, her role in the film, and her take on the character.1.
She’s a character you see a lot in comics.
She’s the female version of Batman, and she’s always been a bit of a wildcard in comics, even in the early days.
It’s something that’s been in the back of my mind for a long time.
How did you get the character to be such a big part of your films?
I’m just really into Wonder Woman because of her.
Her role in Batman and Superman was something I was looking forward to.
I thought she was such a unique character that people would look for and then go, “Wow, she’s a woman,” which is so cool.
But as I got to know her, she became a little bit more like Batman.
So when you go to an action film and there’s someone who’s so strong and so strong in her own way, it becomes a lot easier for you to go, Wow, that’s a cool character.
What was it about Wonder Woman that made you want to bring her to life?
She was so interesting.
When I was in school, I was really into science fiction and fantasy, and I was like, I want to be like Batman, but I don’t want to look like Batman or anything like that.
You know, I just don’t like the look of a bat.
And I’m not sure why.
[laughs] But I love the idea of her being so strong.
Wonder Woman is one of the few female superheroes in comics who actually has a costume.
In her first appearance in the comic series “The New 52,” she wore a costume and had some superpowers.
Now, Wonder Woman’s been around for so long, it’s almost like she’s been an established character.
So how did that happen?
The first thing that really caught my eye was her suit.
For me, it was this big, really intimidating suit that she was wearing.
There were a lot of women who looked at it and said, “That’s not my Wonder Woman.”
I loved that, and then I went and got a few other women and we got to redesign it.
They all had superpowers in their suits, so I wanted to try to do the same thing, but in a different way.
The idea of a female superhero in the ‘New 52’ is so rare, and it’s an incredible achievement.
Gadot’s Wonder Woman is a symbol of strength, resilience, and hope for women.
Is that something that has been on your mind when you were designing her?
If you go back and look at the earliest comics that I read, you have these stories where there are superpowers and women are fighting for them.
That was a big idea.
Also, she was really strong in the comics and in the films, so she’s got a lot going on. 4.
Even though Wonder Woman has been around, it wasn’t until recently that you started working on other DC movies.
Can you talk about the difference between working on the Wonder Woman film and other DC films?
The difference is that for the DC movies, we always wanted to take the character and put her in a story that’s as realistic as possible.
On the other hand, for us, we have a very specific vision for Wonder Woman and we want to make sure that she’s seen as the heroine she is, so there was no way that we could do a movie that wasn’t as realistic.
As you have your own film series, the one that you have on The CW, the ones that are more grounded and realistic, you’re starting to have more freedom in what you’re putting in.
Are you working on something for other franchises?
I’m definitely doing something for a little while.
Do you have any other superheroine movies coming out this year?
Yes, I’ve got some other projects coming out, and they’re really exciting.
While you’re developing a movie for DC, how do you keep yourself grounded and focused when you’re doing other projects?
You’re so focused on what you do.
Your body is so busy.
All of the other projects that you do in your life, you can’t focus on the things that you’re working on, and you have to focus on what the other people are working on.
So it’s very important that you make sure you’re grounded, and your body is right.
